Experience

Katia is an expert in all areas of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on soft IP, including trademarks, design law, copyright, and brand protection. She strives for balanced, cost-effective solutions that align with her clients’ strategic and long-term objectives. Katia offers comprehensive advice on intellectual property protection, covering the necessity and scope of protection, the timing of long-term projects, and the relevance of search reports. She also provides legal guidance before filing applications, ensuring strategies are in place to overcome potential obstacles.

Her expertise extends to brand protection, where she helps clients safeguard their intellectual property rights through proactive strategies both online and offline. Katia focuses on creating robust, long-term brand protection frameworks that support her client’s business goals while recovering damages from infringers that help offset budget impacts.

With her experience as a prosecutor and litigator, Katia defends her clients’ rights in disputes. She prioritizes out-of-court solutions through negotiation and settlement agreements, alongside drafting other IP-related contracts.
