Alexandre is a professional representative of the EPO, a chartered French Patent Attorney, and he is in charge of cases in various fields of chemistry, in particular organic and inorganic chemistry, materials, catalysis, chemical engineering, pharmacy, cosmetics, phytochemistry, agrochemistry and agri-food.
His activities include drafting patent applications, their prosecution, and handling opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO). He also advises clients on patentability and freedom to operate and carries out validity studies on patent applications and third-party patents.
He also has expertise in conducting due diligence (mainly for a strategic investment fund), as well as in patent litigation (patent nullity actions, counterfeiting actions). Alexandre is a member of AIPPI and also teaches Industrial Property at ENSCMu in Mulhouse.
