Experience

Pieter assists clients across various sectors, including media, entertainment, art, fashion, technology, data (privacy), and (online) commerce. He has extensive experience in both advisory roles and dispute resolution concerning commercial relationships, distribution, and transactions, such as the acquisition, licensing, and exploitation of intellectual property rights. His particular focus lies in the protection and enforcement of trademark rights, copyrights, design rights and their (contractual) integration in the supply chain.

Before joining Gevers, Pieter worked as a lawyer affiliated with the Bar Association of the Province of Antwerp for three years. As part of the IP & commercial law team in an established law firm, he focused on intellectual property rights, data protection & privacy, ICT and broader commercial law.
