Jean-Christophe is specialized in patent portfolio management with key accounts as well as innovative small- and medium-size companies. He has experience in developing tailor-made solutions to enhance the IP potential of clients’ projects, especially by cultivating a closer relationship between IP and R&D or Engineering teams. Jean-Christophe advises on all aspects of patent portfolio management, starting with drafting and prosecuting. He handles offensive/defensive oppositions. He represents clients before the French and the European patent offices with a particular skill in oral proceedings. He leads patent clearances and takes in charge the IP issues raised in JDA or other kinds of agreements. Jean-Christophe also advises on patent portfolio audits especially when linked to operations needing an assessment of both portfolio operational quality and size. More broadly, he advises clients on steering patent strategy in line with Gevers policies, focusing on brain activities and cost-efficient back-office solutions.
