Claire is a French and European Patent Attorney. She is also a graduate of the D.U. European Patent Litigation.
She works with clients to protect and defend their innovations, particularly in the fields of Biology, Biotechnology, Cosmetology, Pharmaceuticals and Agri-food.
This management activity includes conducting patentability studies, drafting patent applications, monitoring their examination before various national patent offices, defending or contesting European patents in opposition and appeal proceedings, conducting oral examination and opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office. This activity also includes conducting freedom-to-operate and validity studies on patent applications or third-party patents and providing assistance with negotiations. She is also involved in filing and defending supplementary protection certificates (SPCs).
Before joining Gevers, Claire spent three years in charge of Intellectual Property at the proteomics company Hybrigénics, then worked for six years in the International Industrial Property Department of the L’Oréal Group.
