Meet Alexander Madgwick

Alexander is specialized in patent drafting, prosecution, and opposition, with a strong focus on IP strategy and portfolio management for international clients. His technical expertise covers medtech, advanced materials, optics, mechanics, and consumer goods. He advises on patentability, freedom-to-operate, infringement and enforcement, patent validity, and licensing agreements. He represents clients in oppositions and appeals before the EPO and provides litigation support in cross-border disputes. His clients include multinational corporations, research institutions, and government agencies. Alexander is a member of the European Patent Institute (EPI) and brings over 20 years of international experience across Europe, Japan, and the United States.
