Experience

Ingrid is specialized in European patent law and practice, with a particular focus on chemistry-related patent matters. She has experience in industrial small organic chemicals, such as heterocyclic compounds and macromolecular chemicals, such as polymers, nucleic acids and peptides, their synthesis and structural characteristics. She advises and represents you on patentability of inventions, IP protection strategies, patent infringement and enforcement, patent validity and technology. She defends cases in patent prosecution, opposition proceedings, patent infringement and nullity actions. She handles cases in English and Dutch and is sufficiently proficient in French and German to handle texts written in those languages. She also advises French-speaking inventors.
